PORN & TECH: A DANGEROUS LIAISON
@ FACT HQ (Foundation for Art & Technology, Liverpool)
18 February, 2015
10am – 9pm
FREE / 16 – 25 year olds only

CUNTemporary co-directors Giulia CasaliniDiana Georgiou and artist Diana J. Torres will hold a 2 hour interactive session addressing censorship and it’s broader impact on art and sexuality, queer, feminist and post-porn art, the significance of body politics in aesthetic practice, camp and drag culture and its questioning of our conventional ideas of gender, amongst other themes. The session departs from topical issues of the newly passed censorship laws that govern British pornography, to how younger generations of artists are tackling the use of digital technologies and social media to critique gender stereotyping and sexual discrimination. The session will conclude with an interactive workshop led by performance artist, feminist and post-porn activist Diana J. Torres.
